We are seeking passionate, committed and innovative leaders to join our team during this exciting point of inflection. Job Description Position Overview City Year Chicago is seeking a Senior Impact Director (SID), who is responsible for the overall management and execution of the day-to-day Impac t operations and achievement of service outcomes. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Impact, the SID is responsible for collaborating with the Impact Operations and Service Senior Directors to meet all departmental goals and support the overall development and management of the staff. The SID supervises 4 -6 Impact Directors who directly manage 14-18 Impact Managers, and up to 31 school partner school relationships where we deploy nearly 200 AmeriCorps into national service. The SID oversees the implementation of all Impact aspects of the City Year Impact , including the management and accountability of Impact Director s and Impact Managers in delivering our service, identifying professional development needs and opportunities, strengthening school partner relationships and supporting the AmeriCorps member experience The SID is also responsible for working to promote the long-term sustainability of the site, fostering strategic relationships with various stakeholders, serving on committees, and providing insight and vision as a resource catalys t . The SID also serves on the Site Leadership Team to support strategic planning for events, initiatives , and retreats to foster interdepartmental collaboration and organizational leadership. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Impact Director Management
  • Coach, manage, and develop Impact Directors through weekly team meetings and one on ones, site visits to schools, performance revi ews , and ongoing coaching that identifies professional development and capacity building o pportunities.
  • Consult on meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual Impact and Service goals and administrative deadlines.
  • Create a strategy for the Impact Leadership Team to facilitate best practice sharing, decision making, and alignment.
  • Manage and consult Impact Director team regarding AmeriCorps and site compliance
  • Develop strategy and scope and sequence for Impact Director management and leadership development.
  • Lead the Impact Director team in the creation of a scope and sequence to support management and leadership development for Impact Manager
