M04 - Solution Architect (Applications)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure, and security teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture
• Design and own the end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise applications.
• Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solution designs align with the customer's Enterprise Architecture, security standards, and technology roadmap.
• Develop architecture blueprints covering business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to meet business and technical objectives.
• Technical Leadership
• Provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review solution designs, architecture documents, and source code to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Drive best practices in application design, performance optimization, resiliency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support system modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and legacy application transformation.
• Integration & Collaboration
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and external system owners.
• Identify and manage architecture dependencies, integration challenges, and technical risks.
• Ensure successful integration with enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Sitecore & Digital Experience
• Design and implement enterprise solutions using Sitecore XM Cloud.
• Architect content management, personalization, workflows, frontend integration, and performance optimization.
• Design and integrate Sitecore OrderCloud (OC) commerce solutions.
• Integrate Sitecore with CRM, analytics, marketing automation, and external platforms.
• Develop scalable site structures, content strategies, and digital customer experiences.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or System Architect.
• Strong hands-on experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience designing enterprise-scale applications using .NET and/or Java (J2EE) technologies.
• Enterprise Architecture principles
• Cloud architecture and application modernization
• Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• RESTful APIs and Web Services
• High availability, resiliency, and performance optimization
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience evaluating and recommending technology solutions aligned with enterprise technology strategies, including cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.
• Sitecore Experience
• Hands-on experience with Sitecore XM Cloud.
• Experience with Sitecore OrderCloud (OC).
• Knowledge of content management, personalization, workflows, frontend integration, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating Sitecore with CRM, analytics, marketing automation, and third-party platforms.
