Responsibilities
- Deliver compressor system integration activities across multiple parallel workstreams
- Support product system design integration , working closely with cross-functional teams
- Conduct and lead OSOR investigations and root cause analysis (RCI)
- Provide complex technical validation and verification support
- Support SAR (Safety Assessment Report) activities , including fleet health and risk tracking
- Manage sampling closure and DoRA updates
- Produce clear reporting and updates for Technical Leads
- Contribute to additional subsystem and integration activities as required

- Familiarity with LCE tools , such as: OSORs

- Ability to conduct root cause investigations (e.g. Fishbone, EBRCA)
- Working with Gas turbines whether that be in thermofluids or in a more mechanical role
- Proven experience in systems integration / systems engineering within aerospace or turbomachinery
- Strong understanding of compressor systems / cold-end turbomachinery , including: Casings & structures
- Stress, vibration, aero & aeromechanics
- Tip clearance, engine loads & interactions
- Experience working across the product lifecycle , including design, integration, and validation
- Strong experience in validation & verification (V&V) and ability to challenge requirements
- Familiarity with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- Systems Engineering capability including: DFMEA
- Requirements management processes
- Concept development & selection
- Knowledge of safety processes : FMECA
- SARs
- RedTop (or similar frameworks)
- Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience.
- Desirable Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (after initial onboarding)
- Comfortable managing multiple parallel tasks and shifting priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Basic understanding of engine certification processes and compliance is desirable
