Job Summary Systematically manage all project-related contracts (with the client, engineering firms, vendors and construction subcontractors) to support successful project execution Set up a project contract/claim response plan Manage and monitor risks associated with the contracts Coordination of contract/claim-related works Roles & Responsibility Act as the prime source of contract management for the project and ensure the importance of documentation Act as a single point of contact for all formal and legal correspondence relating to the Contract Lead the coordination of contract management strategy with all project participants, including Project Manager, Project Control Manager, Engineering Manager, Legal Group, and the Contract Management Group Lead the identification of contract variations, extensions of time, and associated compensation Manage the procurement process, including supporting vendor claims and change orders Lead the identification and management of risks, including sharing risk analysis and forecasting possible claims Manage the construction management contract, including setting up standard formats for subcontractors and supporting subcontractor claims and contracts Manage and lead arbitration and litigation, including supporting contract entitlement and backup data with the Legal Group Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Contract Engineers and Assistant Contract Engineers Lead contract management policies, procedures, and processes Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors Lead and report on contract performance and financial status, including preparing regular reports and analyses for senior management Confirm project contract COB (Close-Out Binder) Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field
