  • B Shift - Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm - 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays
  • D Shift - Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm - 7:15pm) with alternating Saturdays

Position Summary Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication etch process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers. Qualify wafer fabrication etch processes on advanced tools. Coordinate process qualifications and equipment downtime with manufacturing and equipment teams. Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions. Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance. Executes change point management on Etch processes / equipment Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
