Manufacturing Engineer (Moulding)

About the role

Our client is a multinational company in the Contract Manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Production Engineer to join their Engineer team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the North - easily accessible. TheProduction Engineer's responsibles are: Provide technical support for molding and/or assembly automation processes, including troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues. Apply scientific molding and structured problem-solving methods to improve process stability, yield, and overall production performance. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality and production issues. Support mold/tooling trials and process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure reliable production processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve OEE, reduce scrap and cycle time, and enhance operational efficiency. Manage Engineering Change Notifications (ECN), including impact assessment, validation, and implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, NPI) and support customer communications on technical clarifications and product changes.
