Procurement Manager (FMCG / APAC Sourcing)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute APAC procurement strategies aligned with demand plans and margin targets
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality, service, and risk
• Define and track category KPIs including savings, contract coverage, OTIF, quality, and risk mitigation
• Establish vendor selection frameworks; evaluate and onboard suitable suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to deliver cost savings and value
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery
• Conduct reviews of trade documentation and contract terms to mitigate procurement risks
• Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to identify risks and opportunities
• Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Support NPD commercialisation through OEM feasibility, costing inputs, and trial coordination
• Collaborate with QA and Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness and documentation for product launches

Requirements

• More than 10 years of procurement management experience in FMCG or brand owner environments
• Strong track record in vendor sourcing, negotiations, and cost/value delivery
• Experience managing supplier performance and procurement KPIs
• Hands-on experience supporting NPD commercialisation with OEM/contract manufacturers (feasibility, costing, trials, scale-up readiness)
• Proven ability to manage multiple local and regional procurement projects concurrently
