Lead Financial Technician

About the role

You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the Naval Education and Training Command of NETPDC. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of financial management regulations, practices, procedure, and policies to technical work performed in support of accounting, budget, or other related financial management work; 2) Utilizing automated systems in support of financial management work; 3) Identifying and analyzing causes of discrepancies in various accounting, budget and/or financial management support assignments; 4) Making corrections to identified problems by researching and applying specific rules, regulations and procedures; and 4) Managing workload, setting priorities, and amending workflow for employees in order to accomplish work goals.
