About the role

The Senior Manager, Product Line is responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and profitability of Poultry. The role leads and develops a team while owning product line lifecycle management, market expansion, and value delivery. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing, the Senior Manager ensures products are competitively positioned, commercially successful, and delivered to customer, cost, and quality expectations. Job Responsibilities Own overall strategy, performance, and profitability of Poultry across their full lifecycle Lead, coach, and develop a team of Poultry Specialists and Sales Engineers, setting priorities, KPIs, and driving consistent execution Define product roadmaps, growth initiatives, and market expansion strategies based on customer needs and competitive analysis Partner closely with Sales leadership and Order Processing to drive product line growth, forecasting, and value positioning Support key customer engagements, corporate accounts, and complex opportunities, including demonstrations where required Oversee new product development, product transitions, and lifecycle management in collaboration with Engineering and Operations Ensure products are delivered to specification, quality, cost, and timing requirements Drive cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Service Monitor market trends, competitive technologies, and industry developments to inform product strategy Enable sales and service organizations through training, product knowledge sharing, and best‑practice development Support aftermarket growth initiatives in service and spare parts associated with the product line Represent the product line in strategic planning, performance reviews, and leadership forums Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred 10+ years of experience in product line management, product management, sales engineering, or technical‑commercial roles Proven people leadership experience managing technical or product‑focused teams Strong commercial acumen with experience driving product profitability and growth Experience managing full product lifecycles in industrial or equipment‑based businesses Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills Analytical, structured, and results‑driven with strong problem‑solving capability Excellent communication and presentation skills in English Experience in food processing or industrial equipment industries preferred Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Why work at JBT Marel We are committed to our employees and will provide you with development and opportunities to allow you to be the best version of yourself at work, at home, and in your community.
