Responsibilities may include: planning, organizing, staffing, and directing the administrative activities of a large county court with a total annual caseload of 20,000 or more averaged over a three year period. This classification supervises, organizes, directs, and coordinates the activities of court staff; and serves as administrator of the court and Clerk Magistrate in the judicial district or designated region. Location: 1210 Golden Gate Dr, #3441 Papillion, NE 68046-2886 Salary: A Judicial Administrator I's salary range is $89,110.84 - $108,572.87. Effective July 1st 2026 After probation period is completed, the Permanent wage will increase at least 2.5%. Pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints, if approved. Job Duties 1. Supervises staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff are trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations. 2. Provides administrative control of all non-judicial activities of the court; interprets and executes statutory mandates, rules of the court, and personnel and procedural polices as they relate to administrative matters implementing changes as needed. 3. Prepares and administers the budget of the court; oversees all expenditures for personnel and other budgetary items; supervises the financial aspects of court operations including the collection, receipt and accounting for of all fees, fines and bonds. 4. Oversees calendaring and management of cases with regard to guidelines, procedures and case flow; establishes and maintains effective case management systems to ensure individual cases and the court's total caseload are expeditiously and efficiently processed to disposition; periodically reviews management reports with judges and the State Court Administrator to identify and investigate problem areas and take corrective actions. 5. Supervises and participates in the collection, analysis, preparation, and reporting of relevant statistical information, financial and administrative reports. 6. Manages all physical facilities and equipment; participates in court facilities planning; negotiates with the county officials regarding upkeep, remodeling, and expansion as needed; procures and maintains necessary furniture, equipment and supplies. 7. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
