WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US As our new Senior Software Engineer, you will join the Product Division in the Portfolio Analysis Product Area, working on Asset Manager / Portfolio Manager - a multi-tenant cloud application for portfolio positions, analytical views, and AI-assisted portfolio management workflows. You will be part of a cross-located agile team working on an exciting new initiative: AI-powered portfolio management, helping revolutionise how Portfolio Managers approach problem-solving and decision-making. Your primary focus will be spearheading the product's frontend experience, while collaborating closely with backend, platform, and product colleagues. The solution includes an Angular frontend, an ASP.NET Core gateway, dedicated backend services for streaming/read paths and cache synchronisation, and Copilot-specific services for AI and chat-related flows. Our goals include enhancing user experience, ensuring long-term maintainability, optimising system performance, and advancing our continuous integration and delivery practices. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is technically proficient, product-minded, eager to explore new technologies, and motivated to foster a collaborative and positive team culture. Drive frontend development for Portfolio Manager and AI-powered portfolio management experiences. Design and implement maintainable Angular user interfaces and reusable components. Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, real-time updates, and integration patterns. Contribute to quality practices through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD improvements. Help shape the technical direction of a cloud-native, multi-tenant product. Work with product managers, UX, and engineering colleagues to turn client needs into tangible product outcomes. Continuously improve performance, reliability, maintainability, and developer experience. WHAT WE VALUE Hands-on experience with Angular 18+, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript API communication layers such as REST, GraphQL, or WebSocket Automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, JUnit, or Mockito Cloud platforms and delivery tooling, preferably Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines Docker and container-based development workflows Beneficial knowledge AG Grid / AG Charts Lit framework ASP.NET Core or other backend technologies Event-driven, streaming, or real-time application patterns AI-assisted product experiences or Copilot-style interaction models As a person, you value Working with others and using the knowledge of the whole team.
