Responsibilities

  • Expertise with Python
  • Experience with supporting developed code in a pipeline deployment workflow
  • Experience in using Linux and developing applications that run on Linux
  • Experience with REST/JSON/PostgreSQL/AWS
  • These Skills Would Be Amazing:
  • Experience with Aerospace and/or Satellite Ground Systems
  • Experience with test automation languages/frameworks: Pytest, Cucumber, Gherkin, Behave
  • Expertise with Typescript (Angular or React framework) and/or JavaScript

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Constellation Enablement Software (CES) Development team in Westminster, CO. This position has the ability to work in a hybrid manner: two days at home and three days in the office per week. Your project: In this role, as part of a Scrum Team of Agile software developers using the Scaled Agile Framework, you will support the Constellation Enablement Software Development team's workflows within the overall Maxar software development environment. You will design, develop, test, and support software within a service-oriented architecture that integrates with the existing ground system via the Vantor continuous-integration/continuous-deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. You will also provide an interface between the CES team and the greater Vantor software development teams and assist in guiding customer teams' adoption of software best practices.
