Retail Associate/ Menswear Consultant

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating an inviting atmosphere and assessing their styling needs and preferences
• Provide expert advice on menswear collections, including clothing fit, fabric quality, colour coordination, and styling recommendations tailored to individual customer preferences
• Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they find pieces that align with their style, body type, and budget requirements
• Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card payments with integrity and efficiency
• Maintain store displays and visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are attractively presented and stock levels are well-organised
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory management, reporting on product availability and restocking needs
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships, remembering client preferences and providing personalised service on repeat visits
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and courteously, working to resolve issues satisfactorily
• Stay informed about current fashion trends, seasonal collections, and promotional campaigns to effectively communicate product benefits to customers
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience working in retail, preferably within the fashion or menswear sector
• Strong understanding of menswear styles, fabrics, and fit, with an ability to provide expert styling advice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
• A genuine passion for customer service and commitment to delivering memorable shopping experiences
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency with computer skills.
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including Saturdays.
• A professional appearance and grooming standards that reflect the brand image of Perfect Attire
• Problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude
