Inside Sales & Contracts Engineer (9 Month Contract)

About the role

Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers, delivering high levels of customer service Provide technical assistance on quotations and specifications, supporting both standard and customized solutions Prepare, produce, and issue accurate and timely quotations including supporting documentation and drawings Ensure all quotations are correctly recorded, tracked, and aligned with departmental KPIs Verify technical documentation, specifications, and customer purchase orders before contracts are booked Respond promptly and effectively to customer queries within agreed service level timescales Support the full process from quotation through to order booking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Work collaboratively within a large customer service team to achieve shared objectives Liaise closely with External Sales Teams and the Service Department to ensure alignment and smooth operations Previous experience in customer service, ideally within a technical or sales-oriented environment Basic engineering or technical knowledge Experience preparing or handling quotations Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office Fluent in English Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow of liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.
