Software Engineer - App Store Discovery

About the role

The App Store Discovery team is looking for talented UI engineers to build the native experiences that help users discover their next favorite app. Editorial, search, personalization, and everything in between. We work with Swift and modern UI frameworks across every Apple platform, ship features with real user impact, and partner closely with design, product, and platform teams to push the experience forward.

Requirements

• Advanced iOS Frameworks: Hands-on experience with advanced iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI,
• AVKit/Foundation and Core Graphics.
• Performance Optimization: In-depth knowledge of performance optimization techniques for native client
• applications.
• API Integration: Expertise in integrating backend APIs and services.
• UI/UX Design: Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience working closely with design teams.
• Mentorship: Experience in mentoring junior developers and taking a lead on cross-functional technical projects.
• Familiarity with JavaScript development technologies-JavaScript, Typescript, AJAX, Node, etc
• In-depth iOS Development: Demonstrated experience (4+ years) in developing applications and user interfaces
• with Swift or Objective-C.
• OOP and Design Skills: Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and design.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, thriving in a team-oriented environment.
• Continuous Learning: Passion for learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for detail to ensure top-notch deliverables.
• Requirement Investigation: Proactive in investigating and understanding project requirements independently.
