About the role
Job Description A Senior Scientist with a strong chemistry background and at least 5-10 years of related research experience is required to lead the chemistry aspects of themineralization scale-up. KeyRoles and Responsibilities Lead optimisation of CO₂ mineralisation reaction chemistry and kinetics Design and oversee advanced laboratory and testbed studies Conduct and interpret detailed material characterisation (e.g., XRD, ICP-MS, TGA) Provide expert support for pilot plant troubleshooting and process refinement Ensure product safety and compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate chemistry insights into scale-up design JobRequirements Degree: PhD in chemistry or related fields with experience in applied research or industry collaboration preferred Proven experience in project management and leading research teams Good understanding of chemical processes and their design and optimization. Good understanding of chemistry and chemical engineering concepts, particularly in (but not limited to) inorganic chemical synthesis and multiphase reactions. Experience in designing, setting up and operating reactors and other equipment at the kg-scale. Remarks: This role is essential for bridging laboratory research and pilot-scaleimplementation, ensuring successful translation of the CCUS and technology towards commercial deployment.
