Position Summary: ANSER is seeking a Radiological and Nuclear Defense (RND) Program Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (ODASD(CBRND)). In this key role, you will support work to enable the development of an integrated and enduring capability for radiological and nuclear defense for the National Guard Bureau and the Joint Force. This position can support a hybrid work schedule with 3-4 days per week onsite and 1-2 days per week worked remotely. Day to Day Responsibilities: Provide evaluation of threats, identification of gaps and potential solutions, and the development of an investment strategy that ensures long-term access to innovative technical solutions and trained operators, and the ability to execute required support functions for Radiological & Nuclear Defense (RND). Support management of requirements collection, validation, and prioritization to inform the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) process. Evaluate, integrate, and synchronize DoD's capabilities to address RND. Review and provide technical and analytical assessments on the integration of U.S. material solutions and overall capabilities for RND. Assist in facilitating/coordinating all research, engagements, strategies, and reviews to ensure effective and efficient execution of the RND tasks. Assist in maintaining a resource investment strategy to inform senior OSD leadership decisions on material investments needed to ensure Department of Defense (DoD) is optimally positioned to address RND. Required Qualifications: Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management or other related discipline. 8+ years of DoD RND experience in a staff environment providing assessments and analyses that address cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
