About the role

You will serve as a EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (CRANES) in the ACQUISITION QA Division of NCC. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Making recommendations to complex and evolving problems surrounding weight handling equipment; 2) Providing technical expert advice and coordination to crane center representatives; 3) Interpreting blueprints, drawings and manufacturers' manuals as well as schematic instructions; 4) Collecting and analyzing shipyard crane maintenance data for trends; and 5) Conducting crane quality assurance for new crane procurement, overhaul, and retrofit contracts.
