About the role
Square is seeking a Senior Partnerships Manager to source, negotiate, and scale partnerships that fuel Square seller acquisition, retention, and business growth across the United Kingdom. Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Deal Execution: Identify, evaluate, and secure high-impact partners; lead negotiations and close large-scale partnership deals and product integrations that advance Square's capabilities and growth.
- Product Partnership Development: Collaborate closely with Product and Product Marketing to design partnership experiences that delight sellers - ensuring integrations are seamless, valuable, and well-positioned in market.
- Growth Accountability: Deliver measurable results in lead generation, seller acquisition, and pipeline contribution through your portfolio of strategic partnerships.
- Activation & Scaling: Launch partnerships with clear GTM plans, co-marketing
- initiatives, and integrated roadmaps; work hand-in-hand with Product Marketing to bring partnerships to life for sellers.
- Executive Relationship Management: Build and sustain senior-level relationships with partners, ensuring long-term value creation and mutual growth.
- Measurement & Optimisation: Define and track KPIs for partnership success, adjusting strategy and tactics as needed to drive continuous growth.
- You Have
- 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, and/or product partnerships, with demonstrated progression in scope and impact
- Hands-on experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing large-scale partnerships and product integrations
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Marketing; experience shaping partner positioning, co-marketing, and GTM narratives
- Demonstrated ability to connect partnership strategy directly to measurable seller acquisition and revenue outcomes
- Experience working cross-functionally with a broad range of teams, with an ownership mentality
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience engaging at the executive level
- SaaS, fintech, or payments background strongly preferred.
