About the role

Job Responsibilities: Prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or other drafting software. Produce 2D drawings, layout plans, general arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings. Support railway-related projects involving mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, or building services drawings, depending on project scope. Prepare drawings for equipment layout, trackside installation, cable routing, support structures, panels, brackets, enclosures, and other railway system components. Assist engineers in converting design sketches, mark-ups, specifications, and site information into proper technical drawings. Update drawings based on comments from engineers, consultants, contractors, clients, or site teams. Ensure all drawings are accurate, properly labelled, numbered, revised, and maintained in accordance with project document control procedures. Coordinate with project, production, site, and quality teams to clarify drawing details and technical requirements. Support preparation of material take-off, drawing registers, submission documents, and technical documentation where required. Assist in checking drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Maintain proper softcopy and hardcopy filing of drawings and related documents. Support project handover documentation, including compilation of as-built drawings and final drawing records. Perform other drafting or project support duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree in any Engineering field. Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drafting software. Strong understanding of engineering and construction drawings.
