Job Title: Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding Location: Haringey Pay Rate: £32.52 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its client's Assessment and Safeguarding Team in Haringey. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred social work within a fast-paced Assessment and Safeguarding Team. Responsibilities include responding to new referrals, conducting statutory assessments, and managing safeguarding concerns to ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable adults. What will your responsibilities be? Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments to determine eligibility for services and support needs. Lead and coordinate Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to risk. Apply Mental Capacity Act 2005 principles, completing Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions. Respond to incoming referrals from professionals, families, and the public, triaging and prioritising cases effectively. Develop and review strengths-based support plans that promote independence and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with health professionals, housing, police, and voluntary sector partners to deliver integrated support. Maintain accurate and timely case records using the council's case management system (e.g., Liquid Logic, Mosaic). Advocate for service users, ensuring their rights are upheld and their voices are central to decision-making. Contribute to service development and safeguarding awareness across adult social care.
