Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and support at job sites, volunteer opportunities, training sessions, etc.
• Assist individuals in learning job tasks and adapting to workplace environments
• Encourage and reinforce appropriate work behavior and etiquette
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to both members and supervisor
• Collaborate with employers to promote inclusive employment practices
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports

Requirements

• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to build trusting relationships with both members and community partners
• Prior experience in job coaching, social services, or a related field is a plus
• Job Type: Part-time

In this rewarding role, you will provide hands-on support, mentorship, and guidance to help individuals build meaningful employment skills and thrive in inclusive work environments. As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in helping our members develop essential work-related habits, professional attitudes, and appropriate workplace behavior. You will also be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with our partners to ensure the long-term success for our members.
