Your leadership will directly influence engineering effectiveness, platform performance, and the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI and large language models. WhatYou'llBe Doing in This Role: Lead and mentor engineering managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams across data engineering, analytics, and application development functions Define and execute technical strategy for large-scale analytics platforms, data pipelines, and AI-enabled solutions Drive adoption of engineering best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize initiatives andallocateresources effectively Champion engineering excellence through architecture reviews, code quality standards, and technical governance Oversee performance management, coaching, succession planning, and career development for engineering leaders Monitor organizational KPIs, platform reliability, and operational effectiveness to drive continuous improvement Remove delivery obstacles and serve as an escalation point for cross-functional and technical challenges Support recruitment efforts,participatein senior-level hiring decisions, and help scale a diverse engineering organization Stay current on emerging technologies andidentifyopportunities toleverageAI, cloud technologies, and modern dataarchitectures Qualifications of this Role: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 7+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership or management roles Demonstrated success leading and developing engineering teams and people leaders in a distributed environment Strong experience with data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data platforms, or modern data warehouse technologies Hands-on technical background in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, or related frameworks Experience working with large-scale analytics systems and high-volume data environments Knowledge of modern database and data warehouse technologies such asClickHouse, Snowflake, Redshift, orBigQuery Experience implementing or supporting AI, machine learning, LLM, or generative AI solutions in production environments Deep understanding of software architecture, code review practices, and all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle Strong experience managing complex projects, competing priorities, and organizational change in fast-paced environments Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is considered an asset Previousexperience building or scaling enterprise analytics and reporting platforms is preferred The Hiring Manager says: "I'm looking for a leader who can balance strategic thinking with technical depth-someone who is passionate about developing people, building strong engineering cultures, and delivering meaningful business outcomes. This position has a starting salary range of $130K - $160K CAD / $150K - $180K USD peryear. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting.
