Job Description We are a Singapore-based construction company specializing in structural steel and architectural metal works for commercial, industrial, and building projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Detailing Engineer to join our growing team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or junior candidates with a background in Civil Engineering who are keen to build a career in steel and architectural metal work detailing, BIM modelling, and construction coordination. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordinating technical details with project teams, consultants, and production personnel. Job Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural steel and architectural metal works Develop 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, or BIM software Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and production departments Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and local standards Prepare material take-offs, cutting lists, and basic bill of quantities where required Update drawings and documentation based on site conditions and consultant comments Support submission of drawings and technical documents for approval Assist in resolving technical and detailing issues during fabrication and installation stages Maintain proper documentation and drawing records Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline Fresh graduates are welcome to apply Candidates with internship or project experience in steel structures, BIM, or drafting will have an advantage Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred Knowledge of Tekla Structures, Revit, or BIM software will be an added advantage Able to read and understand construction and structural drawings Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment Good communication and coordination skills Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet project deadlines Career Development On-job training provided Exposure to BIM and Tekla modelling Career progression to Senior Detailer / BIM Coordinator / Project Engineer
