About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Estate Management to support our estate planning, trust administration, and fiduciary services practice. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, legal professionals, tax advisors, financial planners and internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive estate and succession planning solutions. This role offers exposure to wills, trusts, estate administration, wealth succession planning and client advisory services.

Responsibilities

  • Estate Planning & Administration
  • Assist in the drafting, review, and administration of wills, trusts, letters of wishes and related estate planning documents.
  • Review legal, financial and corporate documents relating to estate and trust matters.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and industry best practices.
  • Conduct due diligence and maintain accurate client records and case files.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, family members and professional advisors throughout the estate planning and administration process.
  • Manage client enquiries professionally and provide timely updates on ongoing matters.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Estate Administration
  • Assist with estate administration matters, including asset collection, transfer of assets, beneficiary distributions and coordination with financial institutions and government agencies.
  • Liaise with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, company secretaries and other professionals to facilitate estate and trust administration.
  • Monitor case progress and ensure timely completion of administrative and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and review estate planning and trust-related documentation.
  • Verify supporting documents and ensure completeness and accuracy of client files.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold fiduciary and compliance standards at all times.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
  • General
  • Manage a portfolio of estate planning and trust administration cases.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Education & Qualifications
  • At least a Diploma or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in estate planning, trust administration, legal services, financial advisory, banking, wealth management, insurance, or client servicing is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in estate planning and trust services are welcome to apply.
