Requirements

  • Master's Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling.
  • Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT or LCSW-C
  • Experience with children, teens, and families
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
  • Strong technological skills and learning new systems, including Zoom, GSuite (Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.), electronic health record systems, and other collaboration tools
  • Bilingual English/Spanish - strongly preferred
  • Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Full-Time Remote - Maryland License Required Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults - all online, covered by most insurance. We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and we believe the quality of care kids receive is directly tied to how well we support the people delivering it. If you're a licensed therapist who wants a full-time caseload, real career growth, and a team that actually shows up for you - keep reading. What this role looks like You'll carry a caseload of 25-36 sessions per week, providing individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth. Most of our clinicians work weekday afternoons and evenings (2-9 PM), with weekend availability a plus. Strong referral flow means consistent income from the start. Day-to-day you'll: Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team - therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists working together Maintain timely documentation in our EHR Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room
