You will take true ownership of the market-mastering sophisticated talent mapping methodologies to track highly scarce engineering teams across international hubs, while leading client acquisition and advisory partnerships with major commercial space players. Responsibilities
- Regional & Global Talent Intelligence: Map out the aerospace and NewSpace talent ecosystems. You will track, analyze, and document technical engineering teams (e.g., Propulsion, GNC, Flight Software) across international competitor companies, research institutions, and defense hubs.
- Business Development & Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, pitch, and secure recruitment partnerships with commercial space startups, founders, and VPs of Engineering across the ASEAN and wider APAC regions, integrating them into our global agency network.
- Technical Vetting & Consulting: Conduct deep-dive technical and motivational screens. You must be able to confidently "talk physics" with rocket scientists and satellite engineers, evaluating their technical alignment for complex space systems.
- Mission-Driven Storytelling: Act as a powerful brand ambassador for our agency's clients. You will pitch high-risk, high-reward space ventures to stable corporate candidates across different cultural and geographical markets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Learn and navigate complex cross-border hiring frameworks, including international export controls and dual-use technology regulations (like ITAR/EAR) to advise clients on legally compliant talent pipelines.
- Who We Are Looking For
- Track A: The Experienced Recruiter
- 2+ years of experience within a recruitment agency or executive search firm, specifically covering Deep Tech, Aerospace, Defense, Robotics, or high-end R&D recruitment.
- A proven track record of cold-sourcing passive engineering talent and a strong desire to execute 360-degree regional business development to help build a new team specialization.
- Track B: The Ambitious Aerospace Graduate (No Prior Recruitment Experience Required)
- A recent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Extensive or deep personal interest in the commercial space sector (NewSpace).
- Strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and a natural commercial acumen.
- A strong desire to apply your engineering mindset to global market data, talent architecture, and high-stakes business negotiation.
