Responsibilities

- Review patient referrals to ensure the orders meet medical necessity and are appropriate for program participation.
- Demonstrates ability to assess and perform medical fitness assessment.
- Demonstrates ability to prescribe and implement a safe exercise program.
- Demonstrates ability to modify exercises for special populations.
- Translates or explains what information means and how it can be used.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sciences, Exercise Physiology or Health Exercise Preferred
- Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Master's Degree in a related area Preferred
- Experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation Preferred
- 1-3 years Experience in Fitness Programming Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Preferred
