Parts Driver - Hall Toyota

About the role

The Parts Driver will be responsible for transporting automotive parts to different locations using a company vehicle while obeying all federal and state traffic laws and safe daily practices. This individual will communicate at a high level to both internal and external customers to drive a high level of customer service. Essential Duties: - Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors - Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up and checks for payments - Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries, pick-ups, payments and COD's - Advises Parts Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance - Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License, with 2 or fewer moving violations
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Self-Starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
