This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be instrumental in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operational teams, providing guidance, delivering SHEQ messages, and supporting best practices across the business.
Responsibilities
- Drive continual improvement in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant SHEQ legislation and company policies
- Conduct accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Deliver SHEQ briefings and promote safe working behaviours across multiple sites
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Work collaboratively with teams to embed a positive safety culture
Requirements
- Essential Skills and Experience
- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working across multi-site environments
- Proven ability to deliver SHEQ messages and influence safety behaviours
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Desirable
- Experience within a hire, engineering, or industrial environment
- Familiarity with environmental and quality management systems
