Technical Drafter

About the role

Drafter works with Design Engineers and independently creates and/or modifies CAD models and drawings, processes engineering change requests, performs support functions for the engineering department to help complete design projects, and support projects within the Engineering & Administrative Support groups. 2D drafting and 3D modelling support work Change Management support for ECR/ECN processing Assurance for quality documentation as engineering support Standards of drawing or any other engineering formats To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: Minimum two year technical / drafting education (prefer certificate or degree) or equivalent work experience Two years minimum mechanical drafting / modelling work experience Proficient with following computer software programs such as NX/Team Center, MS Word, MS Excel Knowledge of basic design practices and geometric tolerance practices Comfortable with basic mechanical design concepts (how component parts fit / interact with each other within an assembly) Additional information Used to work with a team Advanced english Vacancy applies to the referral program.
