About the role

Job Title: Fitter Salary Range: $1500 - $2200 per month Reporting to: Production Manager Minimum Qualifications and Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fit-up and assembly work for piping, pressure vessels and heat exchangers . Experience in a fabrication workshop environment is preferred. Required Skills and Responsibilities Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform marking according to cutting plans and engineering drawings. Ability to perform cutting operations on carbon steel and stainless steel materials. Ability to carry out nozzle orientation marking on pressure vessel shells for preparation of nozzle openings as per drawings. Ability to perform fit-up work for: Piping Joints Pressure vessel shell longitudinal and circumferential joints Nozzle flange-to-pipe connections Nozzle-to-shell connections Ability to conduct hydrostatic and pnueumatic pressure tests on piping systems, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Familiarity with fabrication tolerances, workshop safety requirements, and quality standards. Able to work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.
