Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• Experience with Linux/Unix

AWS is seeking a ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). We are looking for Engineers to work as a team that will deploy AWS Systems Manager (SSM) services to air-gapped regions and support government customers operating in those regions. Key job responsibilities Primary responsibilities include - Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues - Developing monitoring solutions - Performing software maintenance and configuration - Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python) - Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges Responsibilities also include - Working alongside development on AWS projects - Updating/enhancing our current software - Automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
