IT Project Manager - Cloud Transformation / Migration

About the role

Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in IT project management with exposure to cloud platform initiatives. Strong understanding of cloud architecture and platform standardization concepts. Experience managing projects involving: Cloud migration and modernization Enterprise architecture governance Infrastructure standardization DevOps and automation initiatives Platform engineering Hands-on knowledge of one or more cloud platforms: AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Familiarity with: Kubernetes / container platform CI/CD pipelines Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code Cloud security and compliance frameworks Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or ServiceNow. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications preferred. Mandatory: 5+ years of IT/cloud project management experience, leading end-to-end initiatives. Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP . Strong understanding of cloud architecture, platform standardization, and governance in Government Sector. Proficiency in project management tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project , or equivalent. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills. Ability to define KPIs, track metrics, and ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget. CAT 2 clearance needed. Preferred /Nice-to-Have: Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum . Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman). Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation , and platform engineering. Familiarity with cloud cost optimization ( FinOps ) and monitoring tools. Experience coordinating architecture review boards or governance committees.
