In this role, you will play a critical part in operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, and preparing finished products while supporting safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Operate assigned production equipment in accordance with established work instructions and operating procedures. Monitor machine operation and production output to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Perform visual inspections and quality checks to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products; remove defective products from production and notify supervision as needed. Use approved measuring devices, scales, gauges, or other tools to verify product specifications when required. Remove, inspect, trim, assemble, package, and label finished products according to customer and production requirements. Verify product quantities and complete required production documentation, reports, and recordkeeping activities. Notify supervision of quality concerns, material shortages, equipment concerns, or production interruptions. Maintain awareness of machine operation and report unusual conditions or alarms to appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each shift. Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and operating guidelines. Cover breaks for other machine operators as needed. Assist with basic production support activities as directed. Other duties as assigned.
