About the role

We have partnered with one of the leading retail groups in Singapore with a strong presence across multiple store formats islandwide. With a portfolio of well-established brands, the business continues to grow and adapt, serving diverse customer segments though its network of over 50 outlets. Job Summary The successful candidate plays a key role in providing comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Commercial team. This position ensures smooth execution of category initiatives, accurate system and data management, effective supplier coordination, and timely delivery of promotions and commercial activities. This role is based in Tampines North .

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Category Manager to support assigned categories in achieving sales, profit, market share, and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate and implement category action plans, ensuring timely execution to meet business objectives.
  • Provide full administrative support for supplier onboarding and new product development processes.
  • Ensure all pricing, cost, and commercial changes are updated accurately in the system.
  • Manage creation and maintenance of item master data and new article records.
  • Support administration and monitoring of consignment activities.
  • Maintain promotional downloads and coordinate approvals for marketing materials.
  • Assist with weekly promotion commitments, collaborating with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and suppliers for seamless execution.
  • Liaise with suppliers on documentation, administrative updates, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents for system and master data updates.
  • Proactively support internal stakeholders, highlighting risks or issues that may impact operations.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks to support the Category team.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Management, and/or relevant field.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently.
