About the role

Join the team behind Veeam's core data protection technologies, trusted by customers worldwide. You'll work across two critical areas: tape storage - the last line of defense for enterprises and governments, and ransomware detection, where you'll build engines that spot suspicious activity, detect infected objects, and prevent reinfection during recovery. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement business logic for Veeam's core product
  • Develop new features and enhance functionality across different product modules
  • Take ownership of major components and contribute to architectural decisions, both independently and within a team
  • Closely work with databases
  • Solve challenges related to low-level multithreading

Requirements

  • 1+ years (junior/middle) to 5+ years (senior) of commercial product development experience
  • Proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the .NET platform, data structures, and algorithms
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
  • Experience with software architecture design (especially for senior candidates)
