- Profile building - Represent the Omdia brand at functions and events, growing both your own, and Omdia's, reputation within the industry by interacting with the senior leadership of some of the largest companies and fastest growing start-ups.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM subject; master's degree preferred
- 6+ years' experience in the semiconductor or engineering-related industry preferred
- Curiosity to understand the pure play foundry semiconductor market, stay up to date on changes in technology and the forces that drive/impact the market
- Comfortable reaching out to industry sources and developing relationships
- Leads collaborative effort towards a common goal; knows who and where to seek support
- Confident thought leader with the ability to identify themes and topics as a basis for blogs, insights, videos and other content for external consumption
- Ability to think outside the box in approaching problems to find innovative solutions
- Expertise in MS Excel for data building, data manipulation, data organization, and pivot table creation
- Track record of prioritizing time for competing tasks

This role is based in our Neihu Road office. Role Overview As a member of Omdia's semiconductor research team, the Senior Research Analyst for pure play foundry is responsible for developing and aggregating data and analysis that is used by the leadership of many of the leading companies in the world. This role will support ongoing research and analysis in terms of building out research network, exploring new areas of coverage, helping understand key client needs and in building Omdia's profile as a thought leader in the pure play foundry space. The analyst will become one of Omdia's market experts in this area, interacting with customers and sharing market knowledge both inside and outside the company. Key dynamics to understand include capacity changes, utilization rates, new technology development, foundry ecosystem and regional dynamics. The analyst will share responsibility for publishing a standard set of deliverables for each pure play foundry quarterly update including including capacity trends, shipment analysis by technology and quarterly forecasts across industry categories. Developing a clear narrative and understanding of technology shifts, regional updates, vendor strategies and impact of global events is key.
