Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems and supporting infrastructure
• Support the development and refinement of standard operating procedures
• Collect, analyze, and document system performance data during testing and deployments
• Assist engineering teams with prototype builds, field tests, and feasibility projects
• Provide on-site technical support during installations, commissioning, and maintenance
• Perform electrical wiring, harness assembly, and connector installations
• Contribute to process improvements by documenting best practices and lessons learned

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, robotics, or automation hardware
• Proficiency with fabrication tools, wiring, and electrical connectors
• Familiarity with industrial controls, networking, or system integration
• Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and perform precise measurements
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver practical field fixes under tight deadlines
• Comfortable working in industrial environments and with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Bonus skills: electrical panel building, machining, or CNC operation
• A team-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
• Location & Travel
• This role is based in Alameda, CA. Travel may be required for system installations, testing, and customer support. Willing to travel occasionally during project deployments (up to 2-3 weeks at a time). Maximum 25% travel time.
