Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Carry out project management activities, including project planning, resource planning, status reporting, and risk and issue tracking
• Execute project tasks, including gathering data and requirements, analyzing data, documenting processes, designing solutions, and preparing executive presentation
• Consult business requirements with stakeholders and translate these into solutions
• Build and present tailored demonstrations, proving the solution using scenario/use case
• Define, maintain, and continuously develop analytics for business stakeholders
• Provide support to others who are responsible for implementing and maintaining business requirements
• Identify process challenges and implement appropriate corrections or enhancements
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships. Demonstrate an understanding of technology and technology projects
• Develop systems and procedures to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set annual and quarterly OKRs, map OKRs to day-to-day developer activities and provide regular reporting on progress against them

Requirements

• Prior experience within a project management function.
• Proven experience driving and leading high-impact projects from inception to delivery.
• Master's degree from a top university in Business, Technology, or a Quantitative discipline.
• Ability to interpret and translate business needs into actionable practices and workstreams.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English.
• Comfortable working with senior management; willing to offer suggestions and challenge constructively.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality, progressive reports in a clear, easy-to-understand format.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as JIRA.
• AI literacy: comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs, copilots, automation frameworks) to enhance productivity and streamline day-to-day workflows.
• Mature, thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
• Motivated by the transformational effects of technology at scale.
• Understanding of the financial services industry and knowledge of hedge fund operations.
