Salesforce Developer Engineer 3 - Freewheel

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications and high ‑ quality implementations.
• Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs , MuleSoft, and third ‑ party platforms.
• Apply enterprise ‑ level development practices including source control , code reviews , unit testing , and CI/CD pipelines (Copado preferred).
• Configure Salesforce using Flows , validation rules, advanced security models, and Lightning App Builder.
• Support data modeling, data quality, and reporting needs across business units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues; ensure timely follow ‑ through and documentation.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, AI ‑ driven capabilities, platform enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Comcast's Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and long ‑ term scalability.
• Required Qualifications
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering , Computer Science , or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands ‑ on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in:
• Apex , LWC , Visualforce , SOQL/SOSL
• HTML , CSS , JavaScript
• REST/SOAP web services
• Salesforce Experience Cloud (Required) and Sales Cloud (required) and at least one of: Media Cloud, Service Cloud.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex configurations and custom solutions .
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Copado preferred).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft and external systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate innovative software solutions that align with business needs
• Conducting analysis of system requirements and the customization of applications to ensure optimal functionality
• Assisting with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases
• Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and shared knowledge within the team
• Engaging with Quality Assurance to verify that software meets technical specifications and delivering high-quality, reliable applications
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in software applications and systems
• Synthesizing market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and enhance product offerings
• Conducting training sessions for operational staff to ensure effective use of internally developed applications
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Requirements

• Salesforce Certifications such as:
• Administrator , Platform App Builder , Platform Developer I/II
• Experience in Media , Advertising , or large ‑ scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks and enterprise governance models.
