About the role
You will provide high level of administration and support to the Department of Diabetes & Endocrinology and to act as a Personal Assistant to the director (or in his absence to the deputy Director) within the policies, procedures and values of the organisation.
You will support the Director and the Diabetes & Endocrinology Manager
You will provide administrative, financial and clinical support to the Director and the team
You will manage business documentation and reporting for the department by coordinating the flow of correspondence, monitoring incoming correspondence and manage hospital systems to ensure the flow of document preparation
You will ensure that the systems to manage information are highly functional, confidential and meet the needs of the Health Service
The salary for the position ranges from HS2 - HS21 ($66,768 - $73,811.92 per annum).
Your Contribution
Required knowledge and experience are desirable for the following:
Knowledge of health environment
Highly proficient computer skills (Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Packages)
Medical terminology
Previous experience as a Personal Assistant/ Executive Assistant
Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable)
Current National criminal history check will be required, or willing to obtain
