Drafter cum BIM Modeller (Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Drafter cum BIM Modeller to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing electrical shop drawings, coordinating BIM models, and ensuring all documentation aligns with project and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in the successful delivery of building and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit MEP .
• Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documents for systems such as:
• Lighting & Power
• Single-Line Diagrams (SLD)
• Lightning Protection Systems (LPS)
• Underground Piping
• ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, Card Access, EVC)
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Structural, Architectural) via BIM tools such as Navisworks .
• Attend BIM coordination meetings; identify and resolve clashes in the model.
• Maintain and update BIM models based on design revisions and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with BCA BIM standards and project-specific requirements.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and drawing records.

Requirements

• Diploma certification in Electrical Engineering , Building Services , or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of drafting and BIM modelling experience in the electrical or M&E construction industry .
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit MEP .
• Knowledge of Singapore construction codes and standards .
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Prior experience with industrial or large-scale projects is an added advantage.
