The screen-out element for this position is: Job Element #73, Ability to lead and supervise, encompasses the following knowledge and ability: The following are typical duties of the position: Supervising, leading, or directing employees engaged in motor vehicle operations, transportation, delivery, warehouse, or material-handling activities. Planning, assigning, and reviewing the work of Motor Vehicle Operators, Forklift Operators, or similar employees to ensure timely completion of transportation and delivery requirements. Coordinating daily delivery schedules, routes, vehicle assignments, and workload priorities. Ensuring compliance with motor vehicle safety requirements, cargo security procedures, CDL regulations, and agency operating policies. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement to be considered.
