Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability for construction projects.
• Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts.
• Maintain job costing records and analyze project variances.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings.
• Monitor subcontractor payments, retention balances, and progress billings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
