Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you will translate user needs and service requirements into clear interaction models, ensuring that services are usable, consistent, and aligned with modern design standards. You will play a key role in bridging design and engineering-ensuring that interactions are not only well designed, but also technically feasible and implemented to a high standard. Define and communicate user needs through journey maps, service blueprints, and experience models Plan and conduct usability testing and research activities to inform design decisions Design and iterate user flows, wireframes, and prototypes at appropriate fidelity Translate complex service requirements into clear, accessible user experiences Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and responsive design principles across web, mobile, and desktop Work closely with user researchers designers, and product managers to iterate interactions based on evidence and feedback Contribute to end-to-end service design, ensuring interactions align across journeys and touchpoints Maintain consistency across products through contribution to shared component libraries and design standards Document interaction specifications clearly to support development and handover Strong experience designing interactions for complex digital products and services in Agile environments Expertise in creating high-fidelity prototypes and interaction models using tools such as Figma (including components and variants) Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work, including research-led design decisions Understanding of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards and inclusive design principles Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience using AI tools to support research synthesis, ideation, or design iteration At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their wellbeing, professional growth, and financial stability.
