Ultrasound Technologist - PRN - Dallas

Responsibilities

• Perform medical diagnostic imaging procedures (OB, general, and vascular) proficiently.
• Effectively communicate clinical findings and ultrasound results to the radiologist.
• Ensure proper High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and documentation are followed.
• Use PACS and EMR systems to manage and document patient data accurately.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, including assisting with patient lifting, positioning aids, and portable ultrasound equipment.
• Requires physical flexibility to adjust equipment and assist with patient positioning.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing scans.
• Endurance to complete multiple consecutive scans as needed.

Ultrasound Technologist Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience. - RDMS certification is required (RVT certification preferred). - Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in working with a diverse patient population. - Ability to work independently and stay organized with minimal supervision. - Must provide required credential documentation as per company, client, and state guidelines. - Current vaccinations and ability to pass health screenings (including drug and background checks). - BLS/CPR certification.
