Metal Fabrication Specialist

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in metal fabrication, particularly involving miscellaneous metals, railings, stairs, or architectural steel products
• Proficiency with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW); welding certifications are beneficial but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and shop documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Effective organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a production-driven environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform regular standing, bending, and material handling activities
• Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to shift between projects as production demands change

Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator Location: Richmond, VA Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required. Pay Rate: Starting at $22.00/hour Compensation may increase based on experience and welding/fabrication background. Role Overview This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of metal components such as rail systems, stair assemblies, ladders, and other miscellaneous steel items. The role requires strong blueprint comprehension, hands-on fabrication ability, and the flexibility to work efficiently in a production-oriented environment with changing priorities.
