You will challenge traditional thinking and act as a strategic advisor, helping these major firms understand the deep value of the Xero ecosystem and successfully embed our practice tools to drive their continued success. By providing education, strategy, and guidance, you will enable sustainable, long-term growth and support our partners in realising their full potential. The team & how they connect: You will join a collaborative, high performing team of six reporting into our Sales Manager of Partner Success and Strategic Growth. The team works in tandem with our Partner Consulting team to deliver individual and territory goals while sharing educational resources across practices. By exchanging ideas directly and prioritising collective success, this team creates a coordinated effort to support our expansive partner network. Initially, you will focus on: Unleashing the full revenue potential of 200 accounting firms by aggressively driving tier upgrades and expanding their ecosystem with adjacent products. Proactively building and executing a high-impact, data-driven territory plan, leveraging Salesforce CRM to hunt down new opportunities, map the pipeline, and stay three steps ahead. Building a powerful, seamless feedback loop that captures critical feature requests from the field and channels them directly to internal teams to shape the future of our product. Proactively identifying knowledge gaps, strategic blind spots, and alignment issues across the firm to aggressively combat churn and eliminate deletion risks Designing, hosting, and commanding the stage at high-impact Xero Partner events that inspire, connect, and drive partner success Where and how you can work: This is a permanent, full-time role based out of our Melbourne office. We value flexibility and focus on clear outcomes and KPIs rather than rigid schedules, meaning there is no mandatory requirement for a set number of days on the road. You can balance your time between building face-to-face relationships with partners, utilising our vibrant office spaces for boost days, and working remotely. Here are some of the things we are looking for: You bring proven sales performance with a natural capability for driving commercial conversations. You possess strong relationship management skills, allowing you to establish rapid rapport and navigate complex, long-term C-suite relationships. A results-driven mindset is part of your toolkit, alongside the comfort to work towards monthly revenue targets and activity metrics. Public speaking and presentation skills come naturally to you, which will help you confidently create, present, and attend partner events and webinars. You display plenty of initiative and the autonomy required to manage a large, segmented territory effectively. An understanding of the inner workings of an accounting practice is highly desirable to help close partner knowledge gaps. At Xero, we hire based on your skills, passion, and the unique perspective you can bring to enhance our culture and team so we encourage you to apply even if your experience isn't a perfect match!
