Responsibilities
- Guest Service & Mixology Excellence
- Gracious Hospitality: Welcomes, serves, and interacts with guests in an attentive, sophisticated, and professional manner.
- Beverage Expertise: Leverages a thorough knowledge of premium beer, wine, and spirits, including technical pouring, proper glassware, and luxury service procedures to craft exceptional cocktails.
- Menu & Culinary Knowledge: Utilizes a deep understanding of the food menu, preparation methods, and culinary terminology to confidently guide guests, answer questions, and make tailored recommendations.
- Service Flow: Utilizes POS and ticket systems efficiently to ensure the smooth, accurate, and timely delivery of bar items to both bar guests and the dining room service staff.
- Bar Operations & Maintenance
- Station Upkeep: Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains the bar and surrounding workstations, executing all pre-shift, post-shift, daily, and weekly side-work duties as assigned by management.
- Table & Bar Settings: Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the proper order of service, including the flawless placement of glassware, china, flatware, and garnishes.
- Physical Readiness: Fulfills operational duties that involve moving or lifting objects (e.g., tables, barstools, highchairs, and ice/liquor crates) as needed to maintain the room's aesthetic.
- Professional Standards & Compliance
- Impeccable Grooming: Maintains the highest level of personal hygiene and luxury presentation standards, including a clean, pressed uniform and professionally styled hair and nails to eliminate food contamination risks.
- Financial Integrity: Adheres strictly to established accounting procedures for all guest transactions, accurately processing all authorized methods of payment through the POS system.
- Team Alignment: Actively participates in daily pre-shift meetings to stay informed on menu changes, daily specials, and VIP guests.
- Attendance & Schedule Integrity
- Exercises absolute integrity with scheduling by arriving on time and punching in/out accurately for every shift and applicable meal break.
- Follows established restaurant procedures for any schedule or shift-change requests.
- Coordinates all holiday, vacation, and time-off requests proactively with management, keeping the operational needs of the restaurant first.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in premium bartending, beverage preparation, and high-end table/bar service guidelines.
- Skills & Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks with grace and poise.
- Hospitality Mindset: Exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills, and a strong "win together" team mentality.
- Product Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, wine varietals, and culinary terms.
